How Does a Solar Pump Inverter Work ?
Solar pump inverters convert the DC power from the solar panels to AC power which is required by the pump. Depending on the available PV power, the solar pump inverters adjust the speed of the pump, providing lower water flow in the morning and evening but maximum flow at noon. The pumped water can be used right away or stored in a tank for later use, such as evening or night-time irrigation. For these applications, our solar pump inverters are also compatible with several water tank fill level controller and can start or stop the water pump according to the water level in the water tank. If needed, the inverter can also use AC power from the grid or a generator as a backup to power the pump.
