Grid-Tied, Grid-Connected or On-Grid Solar Solutions generate clean and free electricity from solar panels which is sent to an inverter. From there, the inverter supplies energy to electric appliances such as air-conditioners, lights, etc. running in the home. What ever is not consumed, is fed into the national grid. Thus, during daytime, you would all appliances directly from the sun, while at night using the national grid. At the end of each year, OSHEE will calculate the balance between the electricity, which is fed into the grid. If more electricity was consumed at night than generated during daytime, the difference will be invoiced accordingly. However, if you feed in sufficient electricity, you will not have to pay any electricity bills.
